I’m someone who sees the cup as half full—but more than that, I recognize that having a cup at all is a blessing.

Life has taught me to value perspective. Sure, there are days when things don’t go as planned, when setbacks happen, or when progress feels slow. But I remind myself that even in those moments, there’s something to be grateful for. The opportunity to grow. The people who support me. The lessons that shape me. The simple fact that I get another shot at it tomorrow.

Optimism isn’t about ignoring reality. It’s about choosing to see possibility in the midst of it. And gratitude? That’s the grounding force. Because before you fill your cup—halfway, fully, or beyond—you have to appreciate that you’re holding one in your hands.
