Taking a moment to reflect: Tenure is a meaningful milestone, but it doesn’t always guarantee financial stability. In my journey across several institutions, especially private ones, I’ve come to realize that the financial appreciation for simply being a tenured faculty isn’t always what one might expect.

That said, I’m truly grateful for every opportunity and experience along the way. No hard feelings—just honest lessons learned.
