At Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Luis held a dual administrative appointment.
He served as Director of the Applied Media and Game Simulations Center, including oversight of the motion-capture laboratory, supporting student production of interactive media, managing technical infrastructure, and contributing to grant development as appropriate.
In parallel, he administered the center’s internship framework and coordinated the summer video game camp program.

As Assistant Chair, Luis supported departmental advancement in coordination with two successive chairs.
His contributions included facilitating the department’s affiliation with Lambda Pi Eta and serving as faculty advisor; supporting graduation clearance processes; collaborating on budget development and course scheduling; and co-editing the annual report.
He also served as Dissertation Chair for multiple graduate students and periodically contributed to faculty development initiatives through the university’s Center for Teaching Excellence.
